For SITE Houston I created a delicate environment made from industrial materials that suggest a natural genetic makeup. Amorphous forms comprised of handmade charcoal highlighted and interacted with the space to imply movement, drawing the viewer in and around the silo. The work functioned in the space similar to that of algae, adhering to the walls and ground containing eruptive spots of resin rods; creating an ecosystem of various materials. 2015-2016.
